Patreon welcomes its youngest creators at Kidfest 2024

July 19, 2024

Patreon offices recently transformed into playgrounds of imagination for its annual Kidfest event – our take on “bring your kid to work day”! This year's event was a delightful blend of fun, learning, and laughter.

Our CEO and Co-founder Jack Conte, set the tone by greeting kids via Zoom at the company-wide All Hands while skillfully juggling lemons and thanking the kids for sharing their parents with us. Next, the San Francisco and New York office joined forces on the big screen, turning breakfast into an impromptu comedy hour as mini-comedians took the stage to deliver their best jokes.

The morning continued with a dash of magic, courtesy of Germar the Magician, followed by a showcase of musical talent.

The office buzzed with excitement as kids participated in the Great Rubber Ducky Hunt, exploring every nook of the office.

The afternoon belonged to the Patreon interns, who hosted a "Pingo" game (a.k.a Patreon Bingo) filled with employee fun facts. This was followed by a unique spin on Jeopardy, where categories like "San Francisco" and "Patreon Creators" tested the kids' knowledge and likely taught the adults a thing or two as well.

The day concluded with a t-shirt signing session, turning plain tees into mementos of a day well spent.

As the confetti settled and Kidsfest 2024 came to an end, one thing was clear: at Patreon, creativity knows no bounds, and sometimes the biggest ideas come in the smallest packages.
